Any Day Can Be Valentine’s Day By Abbie Vianes

POSTED BY on February 14, 2020

Many couples find themselves stressed by the pressures to get the right card, the right gift and over spend on dinner and a sitter on February 14th. I suggest that couples pick their own Valentine’s Day and celebrate, far from all the commercialism. Any day can be Valentine’s Day.

Create your own traditions and have as your intent a deeper connection in the couple. You can cook a special dinner together, reminisce about why you chose each other, feel the awe that married love really is, and share your dreams for the future.

Kisses of six seconds and longer stimulate the release of oxytocin, the bonding hormone. Slow dancing in the kitchen while dinner is cooking deepens the feelings of closeness.

Your special day can be any day and with this formula, Valentine’s Day can come more than once a year!
