First Lady Jeanette Herbert
The First Lady has always been an active member of her community. She served on the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce, where she was the chairperson of the Partners in Education committee. She was also vice-chairperson of the Utah County Bicentennial Committee and served as a board member of the Utah Private Child Care Association.
In 2003 Mrs. Herbert was named Businesswoman of the Year by the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 she received the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce “Woman Making a Difference” Award. She was a recipient of a Utah Women’s Leadership award at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival Utah Women’s Leadership Celebration.
Mrs. Herbert serves on the Governor’s Mansion Foundation Board, Governor’s Artist Series Board and is also involved with the Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free Foundation. In addition, she serves as Honorary Chair of the Child Care Committee at the Utah Refugee Center. Mrs. Herbert is also currently serving as Chair of the National Governors Association Spouses’ Leadership Committee.

Carmen Rasmusen Herbert
Placing 6th on FOX’s “American Idol” in 2003, Carmen Rasmusen Herbert has appeared on many talk and entertainment shows including David Letterman, the Today show, MSNBC, and Good Morning America. She was also a contestant on NBC’s “Fear Factor.” Carmen completed a nation-wide radio tour promoting her first full-length album entitled "Nothin' Like the Summer" in the summer of 2007 and released a single by the same name which she co-wrote. Her album received rave reviews and her music video won the "Pick it or Flick it" competition on CMT's Top 20 Countdown. A prolific author, Carmen has released her books "Staying in Tune" and “You are More” geared toward young women where she talks about her experiences on American Idol and how her faith and values helped keep her grounded. Her books can be found at Deseret Book stores, as well as her talk on CD, “Who’s Your Idol?” She currently writes an entertainment blog and column for the Deseret News. She and her husband Brad Herbert are proud parents of four energetic boys.
Clay Olsen grew up in northern Utah and later attended Utah State University. He is a creative and passionate filmmaker, marketer, public speaker, author, and social entrepreneur. In 2003 he co-founded the film company, Timeline Films, which later expanded and became the creative agency, Advent Creative (now known as Blink). In 2010 he left that agency and co-founded Fight the New Drug (fightthenewdrug.org), a youth activist movement dedicated to raising awareness on the harmful effects of pornography through science, facts, and personal accounts. Since then they've been featured on ABC Nightline, ABC News, CNN, Al Jazeera, USA Today, NPR, the Dr. Drew Show, and more. Clay has personally presented to over 300 schools and tens of thousands of teens all over the country as well as tens of thousands of parents and adults on this subject. In 2014, he founded and lead the development of an online recovery program called the Fortify Program, to help individuals (particularly youth) overcome their struggle with pornography that has already impacted over 25,000 users in over 100 countries

Dr. Matt earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication, a second master's degree in Human Development, and a doctoral degree (PhD) in Human Development. He is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the National Department of Commerce. He enjoys playing tennis, running, and spending time with his wife Mardi, of 24 years, and their six children (5 boys and 1 girl).
Lucy M. Delgadillo, Ph.D., CMC, is an Associate Professor and Certified Master Coach, in the Family, Consumer and Human Development Department, Utah State University. She holds two bachelor degrees, one in Journalism, and one in Broadcasting and Sociology from Murray State University, a Master of Science in Political Sciences and a Ph.D. in Family Life from Utah State University. Her experience in journalism, sociology, political science and family life has allowed her work to be published in more than 100 articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Delgadillo’s published works also includes authoring several book chapters. She has been a featured presenter in more than 70 international, national and regional conferences.
Joshua Creek performs regularly at civic, corporate and church events throughout the Rocky Mountain West. The Deseret Newscalled their debut CD “the perfect chill album.” It went on to receive multiple Pearl Award nominations and also produced the No. 1 Christian-Country hit, “What Kinda Car?” The Christian-Country Gospel News called their 2007 CD — Heaven’s Not That Far — “a must have!” They also received honors from Country-Gospel Connection. In 2008 they again received multiple nominations and won a Pearl Award for “Songwriter of the Year” from the Faith-Centered Music Association. With 5 studio albums and one live DVD, Joshua Creek has been leaving audiences both laughing and crying with their own brand of storytelling at venues ranging from Dodger Stadium, to Abravanal Hall, to The Tabernacle at Temple Square.
